“IT IS TIME FOR US ALL, AS A NATION, TO GO BACK TO NOT GIVING A CRAP ABOUT PRINCE”

Delivering his message from outside Air Force One, Obama urged Americans to move on, and assured the nation that there would be plenty of other celebrity deaths in the coming months and years.

CNN released a statement saying it, “would stop giving a crap about Prince immediately,” noting that, from here on, “nothing will distract us from our mission of around-the-clock coverage of Republican front-runner Donald Trump.”

Music fans expressed a range of emotions.  Brad Maroni, DJ at local radio station WROK, stated, “The mourning period was great.  It really lifted up our ratings.  From here on though, I plan to celebrate Prince’s life by never thinking about him again.”   But  a fan outside the studio was more cautious.  “I’ll miss his death.  But I’m already looking forward to the one year anniversary.”

And when Kieth Richards, long-time guitarist for The Rolling Stones, was asked what he thought about the untimely death of pop legend Prince, Richards responded, “He was a legend?  Seriously?  I really thought he was real.”

  1. How could you Rottingpost guy!!! The media must continue to worship and mourn Prince (until, of course, a better story comes along).
